It Takes Two Farm  started as a dream.  I envisioned that one day I could offer my horses, share my knowledge and pass on my experience to those interested in learning about horses.  It was also my desire to offer a “different” type of therapeutic activity.  Making this dream a reality would not have been possible with out the support of my parents, children and friends.
Over the years many clients have asked about how the farm was named and what the name means.  There are really three parts to the answer.  First, I once had a horse named “It Takes Two”, Twoey, who was a great companion and an inspiration.  There is a beautiful painting of him (with Arissa) that hangs in the classroom.
Secondly, it takes two, both a horse and a rider working together as a team to form a successful partnership.
Thirdly, it takes two to have a conversation, it takes two to have a successful relationship of any kind, it takes two people working together to accomplish goals and overcome obstacles.  From a therapIeutic perspective it is this intertwining of two beings that creates a unique opportunity for comfort, growth, peace and joy.
All that is offered at It Takes Two Farm comes from my heart and it is my desire to provide a positive experience to all who enter.

Tayler Bobb

Tayler spent her childhood taking lessons and helping with chores at a farm near her home in NY. During that time she rode primarily western. Since moving to Maine 4 years ago she has been a regular here at our farm and delved into english riding. Once she graduated from High School she decided she wanted a career with horses and started working with us. She assisted with lessons for 2 years and attended Centered Riding clinics and instructor certification. We are very happy to have her!
